- Manufacturing industries are well positioned for continuing recovery in both production and profitability in 2011 (Conference Board of Canada)
- Machinist and Industrial Millwright Mechanic are both Red Seal Trades. Red Seal trade certification allows for you take your trade with you across Canada. The Red Seal Program is recognized as the interprovincial standard of excellence in the skilled trades.
- Almost 60% of construction millwrights and industrial mechanics in this region are over the age of 45, employment opportunities should be created through retirements.
