Our electrical program, taught by experienced industry professionals features 22 weeks of in-shop time followed by job search assistance.
In Class and In Shop Instruction
- Hands-on and theory: Electrical installation, electric theory and code, blueprint reading, electronics, network cabling, instrumentation, introduction to PLC’s, motor control, extensive practical training
- Safety training: WHMIS, First Aid/CPR, Hilti, Fall Arrest, Lockout and Tag out
- Employability and Essential Skills including; numeracy, communications skills training, job searching, resumes, interview skills
Program start dates: September and February
This is a fantastic program. Great teachers with two completely different styles and that is great because you can get two diferent ways to do things. But what I really got out of here is knowledge and that’s what I came for.
