Workplace English as a Second Language (ESL)

The Centre provides free customized English classes for your employees based on your company’s needs. This can help your employees:

  • Become more proficient at their jobs
  • Increase Health and Safety awareness
  • Gain confidence at work
  • Prepare for promotions
  • Learn specific job functions
  • Improve pronunciation

Program Details

GOAL: To provide workplace English training to employees in reading/writing and or listening/speaking
RESULT: Make employees more valuable at their jobs (work safer, work smarter, communicate better)
COSTS: All training costs, curriculum development and materials are covered by the Government of Ontario
NO red tape and forms to fill out 
REQUIRE minimum of 6 people to form a group
CLASSES are held at company site for 2 hours per week for 15 weeks
IDEAL FOR companies that have a foreign born workforce.
