The Centre for Skills Development & Training (The Centre) and the Elder Technology Assistance Group (ETAG) are pleased to offer free technology classes for ages 55+.
Beginning April 28, four sessions will be held each Monday providing participants with assistance in learning how to use just about any technology that plugs into the wall or runs on a battery. Class size is limited to 10 people, with a help ratio of one instructor for every three participants.
Participants may bring in their personal devices such as tablets, cell phones, cameras or laptops and receive hands-on assistance to get their specific questions answered.
Sessions will be held at The Centre, 860 Harrington Court, Burlington (off of Harvester Road, between Guelph Line and Walkers Line) at the following times:
- 9:00 a.m.
- 10:30 a.m.
- 1:00 p.m.
- 2:30 p.m.
Each session is an hour and a half. Registration is required and may be made one week in advance of the next session. Call 905-333-3499 ext. 101 to register.
