BURLINGTON, Ont. The Board of Directors for The Centre for Skills Development & Training (The Centre) is pleased to announce that Lisa Rizzato has assumed the position of Chief Administrative Officer. As the successful candidate, Rizzato was a natural fit given her years of service with The Centre and her strong background in administration and finance.
Stuart Miller, Director of Education for the Halton District School Board, advised that: “Lisa’s long tenure with The Centre will lend value and ensure a smooth transition and ongoing stability for the organization.”
Rizzato leaves her position as Manager of Accounting and Human Resources to assume the leadership position for the not-for-profit school board affiliate that provides training and employment-focused services.
“I have always enjoyed my time with The Centre and I am pleased to continue to serve the organization in a different leadership role.” said Rizzato. “It’s an exciting time for The Centre with an evolving and diverse client base and I look forward to furthering the success we have had through community partnerships and needs-based programming.”
